The whole cottage — three ensuite rooms while Owlet is closed
The Heritage Cottage whole-house stay reserves Robin, Falcon, and Blue Crane together for about six guests. Owlet is under renovation and is not offered; do not count a fourth bedroom. Each unit stays an independent ensuite room. Authentic cottage character is the listed feel: fireplaces, patios, and Charlotte Rhys amenities rather than the Luxury Guest House balconies and spa bath.
Take the cottage when the group wants fires and a shared kitchen more than first-floor views. You still walk to the village from 279 Blue Crane Drive. You still park behind electric fencing. You are not on a farm road and you are not booking a private dam.
The three rooms inside the hold
Robin: garden patio, King or two singles, fireplace, full ensuite with bath and shower, interlead toward Falcon and the kitchen. Blue Crane: King bed, private patio, fireplace, full ensuite with bath and shower. Falcon: King or two singles, private patio, fireplace, spacious lounge with fold-out sofa, shower-only ensuite, interlead with Robin and the kitchen. Capacity for the house is about six — we do not stretch that because Falcon has a sofa.
Two bathrooms can take a bath (Robin and Blue Crane); one is shower-only (Falcon). Say so if someone in the group needs a tub every morning. Configurable beds are Robin and Falcon only. Blue Crane stays King.
Cottage kitchen, dining, and braai
Whole-cottage inventory lists a bean-to-cup coffee machine; gas stove, electric oven, and microwave; dishwasher and scullery; a dining room; a lounge and kitchen fireplace; and a patio braai area. That is the self-catering kit. Single-room cottage bookings keep the ensuite beverage stations; exclusive use unlocks the kitchen you actually cook in.
Charlotte Rhys amenities stay on the cottage listing. Backup power for lights and Wi-Fi, backup generator, backup water, secure parking, electric fencing, and the garden with a kids’ play area wrap the stay. The play area is shared with the Luxury Guest House lawn — one address, two houses.

Cottage exclusive use is the quieter house on the same street: three ensuite doors, one kitchen, one dining room, fires in the rooms and in the lounge. It is the right hold for about six people who want patios more than balconies. If the group is larger, read the Luxury Guest House whole-house page instead. If you only need one ensuite, book Robin, Falcon, or Blue Crane on its own and leave the kitchen to a later stay.
