Cottage bedroom that opens onto the garden patio
Robin Suite is the ground-floor Heritage Cottage bedroom that opens to a private patio overlooking the garden. Capacity is two adults. Bedding configures as a King or two singles — say which you want when you write or when you reserve. The ensuite is a full bathroom with bath and shower, not the shower-only layout that Falcon uses.
A fireplace is part of the room. That is cottage character: you come in from a village walk, put the fire on, and the patio is still there in the morning. Robin is not a first-floor balcony suite and not a spa-bath room. It is the garden-patio cottage room with configurable beds.
Ensuite, fireplace, and cottage comforts
The full ensuite (bath plus shower) is why Robin pairs well with guests who want a tub without Garden’s spa bath. Charlotte Rhys amenities are listed on this room. Free Wi-Fi and TV with Netflix, Nespresso with a frother, hair dryer, heater or fan, electric blankets, down duvets, minibar fridge with still water and milk, premium teas, hot chocolate, and rusks are on the inventory. There is no DVD player on the cottage cards.
The private patio is Robin’s outdoor room. It looks over the garden, so breakfast rusks and a second coffee can happen outside when the highland weather allows. When it does not, the fireplace is the indoor answer. We do not invent a stacked wood tariff; ask stay@ if you need a practical note before arrival.
Kitchen interlead and cottage life
Robin interleads with the Falcon Suite and with the kitchen and dining area. That is the cottage plan: take Robin and Falcon when two rooms should share the kitchen without booking Blue Crane as well. Whole-house exclusive use of the Heritage Cottage adds Blue Crane and the listed self-catering kit (bean-to-cup machine, gas stove, dishwasher, patio braai). Robin alone keeps the ensuite and the beverage station.
Owlet is under renovation and is not offered. Do not plan a fourth cottage bedroom. House backup power for lights and Wi-Fi, backup generator, backup water, secure parking, electric fencing, and the garden play area still apply. Walk to shops and the historic pub from 279 Blue Crane Drive.
Book Robin, or Robin with Falcon
Choose Robin when the patio and the configurable King-or-twin bed matter more than a private lounge. Choose Falcon when you want the cottage lounge with the fold-out sofa. Robin’s particular quiet is the patio-to-garden line: you hear the play area if children are on the lawn, and you do not hear a first-floor corridor. Say King if you are two adults who want one bed; say twins if you are friends sharing the cottage room. Either way the ensuite bath is yours, and the walk back from the village is still the same 279 Blue Crane Drive gate.
