The two-bedroom first-floor family room
The Loft Family Suite is the first-floor family unit in the Luxury Guest House — two proper bedrooms, not a sofa pretending to be a second room. Capacity is four adults. The main bedroom holds a Queen XL bed; the second bedroom holds two single beds that are not combinable. If you hoped to zip those singles into a king, this is not that room. Choose Robin or Falcon in the cottage when you need King-or-twin configuration.
Families book Loft when teenagers or a second couple need their own bedroom and everyone still wants one bathroom and one lounge. You are still on 279 Blue Crane Drive, still a short walk into the village, still in the contemporary Luxury Guest House rather than the fireplace cottage.
Lounge, balcony, and the view that belongs to Loft
The lounge is the spacious one with full surround sound — Loft’s own mark, not a house-wide speaker claim. It is where a family film night actually fits. The balcony looks toward Zuikerboschkop. That named view is why this suite is not a copy of Master: Master has two balconies off a private lounge; Loft has the mountain-facing balcony and the two-bedroom split.
The bathroom has a double vanity and a separate toilet. It is a full bathroom for the suite, not a downstairs shared cloakroom. Four adults sharing one bathroom is the honest trade for keeping the family on one floor with one booking.
What is in the rooms
Inventory amenities include free Wi-Fi and TV with Netflix, Nespresso with a frother, and percale linen. The minibar fridge holds still water and milk. Premium teas, hot chocolate, and rusks are stocked. You also have a DVD player, hair dryer, heater or fan, electric blankets, and down duvets. There is no fireplace in this suite — fireplaces belong to the Heritage Cottage rooms and to the whole-house lounges.
The beverage station is for early starts and late cocoa, not a full kitchen. If you want the gas stove, dishwasher, breakfast nook, and gas braai, reserve the Luxury Guest House as exclusive use. Loft on its own is a self-contained family suite with coffee and a fridge, then village restaurants a walk away.
House context and the Master pairing
Backup power for lights and Wi-Fi, the backup generator, and backup water sit on the house inventory, as do secure parking, electric fencing, and the garden with a kids’ play area. We mention those because they are listed, not because we are selling a scare story about the grid.
Loft interleads with the Master Suite. That pairing is the first-floor family plan: King XL and children’s sofa in Master, Queen XL plus two singles in Loft, two lounges, two bathrooms.
